The Asia Asset Management Magazine (AAM) held “The 3rd Pensions and ESG Forum – Pensions and Institutional Investments: Where Finance and Technology Meets” in Hong Kong on November 29. FinEx Asia Co-founder and President Angie Lin shared digital asset management experience and how to use technology to develop cutting edge products that would differentiate from other traditional asset managers.
Angie Lin joint Kristi Swartz, Office Managing Partner of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP, Dr Florian M Spiegl, Co-Founder and COO of FinFabrik and Syed Musheer Ahmed, General Manager of FinTech Association of Hong Kong, discussed the opportunities and challenges of transforming to digital asset management in the “Digital Asset Management “ panel moderated by Professor Seen-Meng Chew, Associate Professor of Practice, Department of Finance, The Chinese University of Hong Kong Business School.
FinEx Asia is the first asset management firms in Asia applying technology to analysis the credit risk and to manage the US assets. The forum addressed the impact and changes of asset management industry from various aspects including regulatory and compliance, new asset classes, trading and execution and investment performance. Ms. Lin is invited to share how FinEX Asia adopts technology while assessing and managing US consumer credit risks to generate fixed- income products with low volatility and low correlation to other asset classes and also how to manage such portfolio to generate stable returns to the investors.
